CoffeeSock: Traditional flat bottom filters are a reusable alternative to disposable paper and metal filters and can last about a year with proper care.
Cotton absorbs some of the oils released from coffee beans, but allows acids to pass through. The resulting cup is clear, crisp, rich, and robust with all the acid of paper brewed coffee, without the papery taste, and all the body of French press without the heavy oil.
CoffeeSock filters are made with certified organic cotton. Cotton imparts no flavor to the finished brew unlike paper. Cotton is 90% cellulose, which is a tasteless, odorless compound that is insoluble in water. CoffeeSock filters are handmade in Austin, Texas. All filters are sewn and packaged by happy humans earning a fair and living wage.
