Plunger Care & Cleaning Instructions

Care: Your plunger seal will wear out over time. To maximize your seal's life, always eject your spent coffee right after brewing and store your AeroPress coffee maker with the plunger seal pushed all the way through the chamber. This keeps the seal free of compression and extends its life. There is no adhesive on your seal, so you can easily remove it and then slide it back onto your AeroPress plunger.

Cleaning: We recommend that you occasionally remove your seal from the end of the plunger to thoroughly wash it inside and out with warm water and dish soap.
